Dr. Dimitar Cherkezov is a dermatologist with extensive clinical experience, international training, and specialized expertise in aesthetic dermatology. His approach combines advanced diagnostic and treatment methods, evidence-based medicine, and personalized care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

As Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at St. Sofia Hospital, Dr. Cherkezov brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions. He believes that skin health and aesthetics go hand in hand, and that achieving exceptional results begins with a thorough understanding of each patient’s unique skin characteristics and concerns.

Research plays an important role in his professional career. Dr. Cherkezov has authored and co-authored more than 40 scientific publications and serves as a Junior Editor for the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEADV). He continues to advance his expertise through international conferences and specialized training programs organized by the European and American Academies of Dermatology.

His primary interests in aesthetic dermatology include advanced laser treatments for scar revision and skin rejuvenation, as well as injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters, and mesotherapy.
